Infection
Infection is the invasion of the body tissues of an organism by agents that cause disease, their recurrence, and the reaction of the infected tissue and the toxins produced. Infections are caused by bacteria that invade the body and multiply, causing injury or disease.

Types of Diseases
- Viral Infection
Infection occurs due to germs. Germs contain a small fraction of the genetic code, and a coat of protein and lipid molecules protects them.
- Bacterial infections
Bacteria single-celled microorganisms are also known as prokaryotes. Bacteria can live in almost any kind of environment, from extreme heat to freezing temperatures, and some can even survive in radioactive waste.
- Fungal infections
Fungus is usually a parasite of many cells that can decompose and absorb living organisms through the enzyme.
- Prison disease
Prion is a non-genetic protein and is generally harmless. Scientists do not classify prions as living microorganisms.
Symptoms
- Symptoms of infection depend on the organism responsible, as well as the location of the infection.
- Bacteria target specific cells, such as those in the vagina or upper respiratory tract.
- Some direct a wide range of cells, leading to several symptoms. The flu virus can cause runny nose, muscle aches, and stomach aches.
Causes of Infection
The cause of infection is any type of organism that has entered the body. The effects of the infection, such as inflammation or runny nose, occur as a result of an immune response to the invading animal.
- Bacteria
These single-celled organisms suffer from diseases such as strep throat, urinary tract infections, and tuberculosis.
- Fungi
Many skin diseases, such as worms and athlete’s foot, are caused by Fungi. Some types of fungi can enter your lungs or your nervous system.
- Parasites
Malaria is caused by a small animal that is spread by mosquito bites. Some parasites may be transmitted to humans from the faces of animals.
How to prevent infectious diseases:
- Wash your hands often, especially before and after meals and after using the bathroom.
- Take antibiotics with a prescription and make sure you complete the recommended course.
- Do not share personal items such as toothbrushes, towels, razors, etc.
- Prepare your food safely, and cook it at the right temperature. Keep your kitchen counters and areas clean.
